The GentleDog Club is run by Rosie, Jack, and Ted — our very loved four-legged team member. We share a genuine passion for dogs and believe there is real beauty in enriching a dog’s life through thoughtful care, meaningful play, and positive social experiences.
We are licensed with Dacorum Council, Ofqual Level 3 qualified, canine first aid trained, DBS checked, and fully insured — giving you complete peace of mind that your dog is in safe, knowledgeable hands.
Jack brings over 8 years of hands-on experience working with and understanding dogs, and is known for bringing energy, confidence and fun into every dog’s day. Rosie specialises in canine behaviour, enrichment and socialisation, carefully planning structured play, personalised enrichment activities, and of course, plenty of affection and comfort to make every dog feel secure and happy.

At The GentleDog Club, dogs enjoy daily natural enrichment through forestry walks, open field exploration, and safe water experiences. Dogs are encouraged to sniff, track scents, and explore natural surroundings. They experience varied terrain, including grass, woodland floors, and natural obstacles.
Positive, carefully managed social interaction forms part of each day. Dogs engage with natural elements such as leaves, logs, and seasonal changes.All enrichment supports natural behaviours, confidence, and overall well-being.
At The GentleDog Club, we offer a safe and reliable home pick-up and drop-off service for all dogs in our care. Our fully equipped van is fitted with air conditioning to ensure dogs remain comfortable during transport in all seasons. Each dog travels securely in fitted crates, supporting both safety and calm travel experiences. We are fully insured, including key holder insurance, giving owners complete peace of mind when we collect and return their dogs. At the end of each day, every dog is dropped home calm, enriched, and fulfilled from their time with us
At The GentleDog Club, dogs truly experience the best of both worlds. Our mornings are spent exploring on carefully planned adventures, visiting varied locations that offer new terrains, environments, and sensory experiences. This allows dogs to engage their minds and bodies through natural exploration and enrichment. In the afternoons, we return to our secure, enclosed daycare site where dogs can relax, snooze, play, and socialise safely. This balanced routine supports both stimulation and rest, allowing dogs to simply be dogs and enjoy their day to the fullest.
